இலங்கை செஞ்சிலுவை சங்க (SLRCS) திருகோணமலை கிளையின் முன்னாள் தலைவர் டாக்டர் ஈ. ஜீ. ஞானகுணாளன் அவர்களின் 27 வருட சேவையை பாராட்டி 13-01-2018 அன்று நடந்த அகில இலங்கை செஞ்சிலுவை சங்கத்தின் வருடாந்த மகாநாட்டில் விசேஷ விருது வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டார். இவர் திருகோணமலை கிளையின் முன்னாள் தலைவராகவும் மற்றும் செயலாளராகவும் 1989 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் பணியாற்றி வந்துள்ளார்.
இவ் விருதை இலங்கை செஞ்சிலுவை சங்க தலைவர் திரு ஜெகத் அபேயசிஙக, சர்வதேச செஞ்சிலுவைசங்க செம்பிறை சங்கங்களின் (IFRC) இலங்கை பிரதிநிதி திரு. Gerhard Tauscher மற்றும் சர்வதேச செஞ்சிலுவை சங்க (ICRC) இலங்கை பிரதிநிதி திருமதி Claire MEYTRAUD ஆகியோர் இணைந்து வழங்கி பாராட்டினார்கள்.
Dr.E.G.Gnanakunalan was honored at the Annual General Meeting of the SLRCS
Trincomalee Branch of Srilanka Red Cross Society former Chairman Dr.E.G.Gnanakunalan was honored by giving Special Award at the Annual General Meeting of the Srilanka Red Cross Society on 13-01-2018 in Colombo. He served as Chairman & Secretary, since 1989 in the Trincomalee Branch.
This Award was jointly handed over by Srilanka Red Cross Society President, Mr.Jegath Abeyasingha,- Mr. Gerhard Tauscher – Srilanka Representative of International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Ms. Claire MEYTRAUD - Srilanka Representative of International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC)
